Welcome to my individual page to help raise funds for Bruce House! 

As a gay trans person born in the 80s, a huge amount of the entire generation of queer elders I could have learned from and looked up to died of AIDS, an incalculable loss that I reflect on often.

HIV and AIDS disproportionately affect marginalized and criminalized communities, and ensuring safety, dignity, and thriving of people living with HIV/AIDS in our community is a critical social justice issue.

Bruce House is committed to ensuring its clients have access to equality, housing stability, supported independence, and opportunities for healthy living. It is the only organization in Ottawa with the core mission of providing housing and compassionate support to people living with and impacted by HIV.
